(The 66 Steps)

Often called the “66 Steps,” the Queen’s Staircase was carved out of solid limestone by enslaved people in the late 18th century. It was built to provide a direct route from Fort Fincastle to Nassau city. Today, it’s surrounded by lush vegetation and is one of Nassau’s most photographed spots.
